    ROW80 – 2022 – Round 4 – Check-in 8 (November, 27th 2022)

Hi everyone!  Note: To keep posts short, I’ve made a Trello board with my goals for the year. Feel free to check it out if you want to know more about the bigger plan. My word for the week is CELEBRATING. Obviously, the biggest celebration was Thanksgiving. As there are no day off in France at the end of November, we normally have a nice dinner on November 10 because the 11th is a bank holiday. But this year, we moved it to this weekend after 2 members of the family got sick with the flu. And of course, this means I’ve been thinking about what I’m thankful for a…

    ROW80 – 2022 – Round 4 – Check-in 7 (November, 20th 2022)

Hi everyone!  Note: To keep posts short, I’ve made a Trello board with my goals for the year. Feel free to check it out if you want to know more about the bigger plan. My word for the week is PROCESSING. Mostly, it was about processing food properly as I ended up having issues there. But I’ll spare you the glamorous details… I also had to process the realization I still have feelings for my future ex-husband and what to do with these feelings. This lead me to consider something I’ve known for a while and what it actually means to me. I’m poly and I’ve never had any issues…

    ROW80 – 2022 – Round 4 – Check-in 6 (November, 13th 2022)

Hi everyone!  Note: To keep posts short, I’ve made a Trello board with my goals for the year. Feel free to check it out if you want to know more about the bigger plan. My word for the week is CAREGIVING. As my future ex-husband got badly sick with the flu (maybe H1N1, the physician thought it pointless to check as the treatment is the same apparently), I had to take care of the girls on my own while also taking care of him a little, since I’m not a monster and still care about him.  I took it as a good opportunity to see how things would be once…

    ROW80 – 2022 – Round 4 – Check-in 5 (November, 6th 2022)

Hi everyone!  Note: To keep posts short, I’ve made a Trello board with my goals for the year. Feel free to check it out if you want to know more about the bigger plan. My word for the week is FUN. Of course, not all week was fun, but there was a lot of it, including some fun times when my future ex-husband was there. Obviously, it’s not always that easy and it stirs some other feelings too, not all positive, but I’m glad we can still get along well enough to laugh together. I do wish we could clarify the situation sooner than later but I do appreciate the…

    ROW80 – 2022 – Round 4 – Check-in 4 (October, 30th 2022)

Hi everyone!  Note: To keep posts short, I’ve made a Trello board with my goals for the year. Feel free to check it out if you want to know more about the bigger plan. My word for the week is RECONNECTING. Connections have always mattered a lot to me and ever since my future-ex-husband gave me the shock of ending the one between us, I’ve tried to maintain existing bonds, make new connections and even reconnect with a couple of old friends. But obviously reconnecting with my estranged parents has been the most healing part of it all. All through the weeks, their kind and loving words have been a…

    ROW80 – 2022 – Round 4 – Check-in 3 (October, 23rd 2022)

Hi everyone!  Note: To keep posts short, I’ve made a Trello board with my goals for the year. Feel free to check it out if you want to know more about the bigger plan. My word for the week is RESOLVE. I’ve resolved to many things lately, including getting back in touch with my estranged father at some point in the near future. The divorce has made me realized I needed at least to clarify things with him, as he pretty much raised himself and, all things considered, did a pretty good job until I turned into a teenager with my own opinions, which he had a hard time with…

    ROW80 – 2022 – Round 4 – Check-in 2 (October, 16th 2022)

Hi everyone!  Note: To keep posts short, I’ve made a Trello board with my goals for the year. Feel free to check it out if you want to know more about the bigger plan. My word for the week is JUGGLING. Between the usual multitasking aspects of being a working mom, meeting the divorce attorney, working on new online courses, studying for midterms and having an interview for the potential new job, it’s been hard staying organized this week. Every day felt like I had to be at least 3 different people, sometimes at the exact same time. Thankfully, reducing my medication has helped me stay more focused when it…

    ROW80 – 2022 – Round 4 – Goals & Check-in 1 (October, 9th 2022)

Hi everyone!  Note: To keep posts short, I’ve made a Trello board with my goals for the year. Feel free to check it out if you want to know more about the bigger plan. My word for the week is STRESS. I have a shot at a job at university which is a great opportunity and a way to financial safety, but I’ve realized it was also a source of stress. Mostly because it means taking a step back from building the life I want, focused on family and love rather than career. And in a way, it would also mean all the energy I’ve put in my own business…

    ROW80 – 2022 – Round 3 – Wrap-up (October, 2nd 2022)

Hi everyone!  Note: To keep posts short, I’ve made a Trello board with my goals for the year. Feel free to check it out if you want to know more about the bigger plan. My word for the week is FLOW. As I’m still pretty tired from COVID-19, I just went with the flow this week, adding a little vitamin C daily to feel a little more energetic. I even went to see a movie on Monday!  Other than that, I just followed my routine, which means a little progress on some goals I’d already passed anyway. For October, I think I’ll keep some “ON HOLD” goals just in case…

    ROW80 – 2022 – Round 3 – Check-in 12 (September, 25th 2022)

Hi everyone!  Note: To keep posts short, I’ve made a Trello board with my goals for the year. Feel free to check it out if you want to know more about the bigger plan. My word for the week is RELOADED. Kind of like the Matrix. There was a moment on Monday when I was afraid COVID would kill me just like it had a dear friend a couple of years ago. Well, his heart stopped and he had COVID, so no certainty, but I started feeling pains in my chest so freaking was the natural course.  Then I made an appointment with the doctor to be sure nothing was…
