Note: To keep posts short, I’ve made a Trello board with my goals for the year. Feel free to check it out if you want to know more about the bigger plan.
My word for the week is CELEBRATING.
Obviously, the biggest celebration was Thanksgiving. As there are no day off in France at the end of November, we normally have a nice dinner on November 10 because the 11th is a bank holiday.
But this year, we moved it to this weekend after 2 members of the family got sick with the flu.
And of course, this means I’ve been thinking about what I’m thankful for a lot.
Which allows me to celebrate even the smallest wins, like moving on with my life, realizing that despite I still had feelings for my future-ex-husband we could never be together again, and bouncing back pretty quickly after that, which shows how much more resilient I’ve become.
And that’s only the tip of the iceberg. I feel quite content at the moment, and there are even quite a few happy times. I really hope I can have the future I’m trying to build, and right now I’m optimistic. So big YAY! ^^
That being said, December will be starting soon, so though I won’t be wrapping up for November just yet, I need to set goals for the last month of the year.
