ROW80 – 2022 – Round 2 – Goals

Hi everyone!

Note: To keep posts short, I’ve made a Trello board with my goals for the year. Feel free to check it out if you want to know more about the bigger plan.

My word for the week is EXHAUSTED.

I don’t know whether it was daylight saving time or the aftermath of March, but I just felt tired all week, even after sleeping long nights. And then for some reason, I kept waking up through Thursday night, which resulted in a complicated Friday.

The next night was a bit better and last night was OK but I still feel extremely tired (which is why I’m posting so much later than usual) so I’ll probably have to take it easy for the coming week.

But a new Round of ROW80 is also starting soon, so my goals are below.

Round Goals

No big surprise here, I’ll mostly keep working on similar goals. Writerly things keep dwindling, but I need to accept this for now.

This Round’s goals mostly align with Round 1’s, except I do wish to have more writerly things and I will begin with a special offer for Pride Month, before getting back to business (meaning writing) in June, or maybe May, once my research paper is done.

Writing

  • CS2 "Harmonies"

    I'll try and complete 2.1.

Translating

  • Meditation Project

I will translate 3 Packs for my own project, and a pack or 2 for the Foundation, plus the app's texts and descriptions.

  • Rotten

I will translate 10 more pieces.

Publishing

  • Meditations

I'll continue sharing the Low Mood pack, then move on to Relationships.

  • Books

I'll give a special offer on queer books for Pride Month.

Work

  • Online courses

I'll launch Module 1 and make some online tests for another course.

  • Story Time

I'll build the 3 workbooks for Bat & Friends.

  • Japanese

I'll complete the enriched lessons for Module 5, then start working on the scripts for the initiation.

  • Quality certification

I'll make and share 1 tutorial a month.

Renovating

  • Family Room

    We'll refurnish properly and decorate.

  • Kitchen

    We'll reinstall the sink.

  • Parental Suite

We'll finish the bathroom, add a door to the bedroom and decorate (light fixtures too).

  • Hall & toilets

We're hoping to change the entrance door, do something about the ugly walls, lay tiles and close the toilets.

Personal

  • Studies

I'll wrap up the first term in May.

  • Well-being

I'll fast intermittently from June to August.

  • Sport

I'll commit to daily yoga again.

  • Reading

I'll read at least 1 paperback a month as part of my decluttering effort.

How about you? What is your word for this week and why? Let me know in the comments. Take care!

I certainly hear you as far as being exhausted. I haven’t slept much the last week, either, for several different reasons. I’m hoping this week things will be better; at least Hubby is almost over his cold, and I haven’t gotten it yet.

I love picking a word for the week, but as soon as I write it down, it goes by the way side. I’d like to have the word ambition for this week. I need to start getting some ambition, as there are so many things I need to get done! We’ll see how it goes.

I pick my word for the week once the week is over, but I like the idea of choosing it as an objective for the week too! 😀
Hope you can get some rest.
